Questions people ask
Which plan for an importer, which for an exporter?
Any plan works for either side. Starter covers the books, PDFs, shipment tracking and expiry alerts. Pro adds spreadsheet imports, the rate book, buyer approval and supplier rate links, the margin guard, the profit dashboard, the reorder planner and the support centre. Organization adds the AI assistant and AI sheet import, connected trade with your exporter on Octa, and an ordering portal for your own customers.
Does Octa file customs entries or book freight?
No. OCTA prepares invoices, packing lists and order slips from the consignment record, with the landed cost of every unit. It does not file customs entries or book freight; your customs broker and freight forwarder keep doing that.
What happens when the trial ends?
Nothing is deleted. Your books stay exactly as they are; the portal closes until you choose a plan, and opens again the moment you do.
Can I change plans later?
Yes, from Billing inside the portal. Going up applies immediately; going down applies at the next renewal. A cancelled plan runs to the end of what has been paid.
Is my card safe?
Payments are handled by Stripe on Stripe’s own pages. Octa never sees or stores card details.
